It seems like everyone and their dog are in love with kale chips. I was incredibly skeptical of how tasty they would be as it doesn’t seem like there is that much too them. So over the weekend I decided to make a batch and see what all the hype was about.
Well, I think that I’ve found my new go to munchie! Now I will say that I do like my food pretty plain and if you enjoy food with a ton of flavour these most likely aren’t for you.
If you are thinking about making them, do it! They are ridiculous easy to make so it wont take you hours before finding out if this snack food is for you.
- 1 bunch of kale
- Sea salt
- Olive oil
Preheat your oven to 350. Wash the kale and pat it dry. Cut the kale the stem and cut the it into bit sized pieces. Put the kale into a bowl and drizzle oil over it and then sprinkle sea salt over top (as shown in photo #1). Mix it all together and then lay the kale onto a baking sheet or pan (as shown in photo #2). Bake for approximately 10 – 15 minutes. You want the edges to start curling and turning brown (as shown in photo #3). Once the kale chips are crispy you can put them into a bowl and enjoy!
If you try these let me know what you think!
