Nuetella Hot Chocolate

I’m a huge fan of the delicious and chocolatey Nutella. It is amazing on toast, by itself, with bananas, and you can use it to make the best hot chocolate ever!

I love making this hot chocolate on a chilly evening as a treat to warm up.A Sprinkle Of Love Hot Chocolate A Sprinkle Of Love Hot Chocolate Steps

Ingredients:

  • Nutella
  • Almond milk or your choice of milk
  • Cinnamon

Directions: Measure 1 cup of almond milk and pour half of it into a pot. Scoop 2 spoonfuls of Nutella into the pot. I like to put rather large scoops because I’m a chocolate fiend. Turn on the stove to medium heat and stir or whisk everything together to prevent the Nutella from burning until all the Nutella has melted and the milk starts to foam. At this point add the remaining almond milk into pot and sprinkle in some cinnamon. Let the mixture heat up for a few minutes and then pour it into your mug and enjoy!

For an extra treat you can top of your hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkle a little more cinnamon on top and enjoy the most delicious hot chocolate you’ve ever had!

  1. This looks delicious. I admire your patience. Years of instant packets have hardened me to actually ever making hot chocolate from scratch. #shame

    1. I used instant packages for the longest time but after trying this recipe I can’t go back! It’s 100 times richer and tastier then instant hot chocolate and it doesn’t take all that long to make.
